The updated version of our 49watt, 6ft, ME-T5 adaptor has now completed its UK EMC testing and is now available.  The new unit was tested at a UKAS approved EMC centre – ETS -  on the 7th of February.






The test centre measured the power consumption of the 49watt adaptor at only 44.5watts with a power factor of 0.991!

Further testing conducted in April at the same test centre showed that the ME-T5 49watt unit used 5.8watts less power than any other 6ft adaptor tested. Over the expected running life of the adaptor, at an energy price of 7.45p per kWh, that is a saving of over £21!
